Hello- I do not know of any current dairy funds available. You can check out three recent posts we did about looking for donor funding, and in the meantime I suggest checking out the following projects that you can learn from or perhaps get connected with to get more ideas for finding funding. I do know that veterinary services are pivotal, and that many funds and government donors look to build local and regional capacity, through training, so that those services are available by national professionals.
Additionally, AgTech Team member Matthew Krause has worked in the dairy sector; perhaps he can add some wisdom on your question: what are some projects and organizations where veterinary training centers are being established and/or what are some of the major funders of dairy projects in East Africa.
Land O’Lakes is implementing a Gates Foundation funded 5 year livestock project in East Africa. Fintrac is implementing a USAID funded agriculture value chain project which focuses on dairy sector. More information can be found at https://www.usaid.gov/documents/1860/kenya-agricultural-value-chain-enterprises-kaves
